Jeff's Group

The sun shone mercilessily down on Earth. The vast blue sky was filled with fluffy white clouds. The breeze sang a soothing lullaby. Erik did his morning routine and went to the park as usual.
Within ten minutes, he arrived at his destination as it was a stone throw away from his house. Upon reaching, exuberance bubbled in his heart. The trees swayed from side to side and the flowers whispered to each other. The park was bustling with activities. Some of the people were cycling on the cycling path, while the others were jogging. Out of the blue, he heard a sound coming out from a bush which shocked me. Aghast thoughts rushed through his head. He was in a predicament. He pondered what he was going to do next. Soon, curiosity got the better of him. He tip-toed forward and peeked through the bushes. It was an abandoned baby in a basket with a snake! It only took him a few seconds to regconize the snake as it had striking colours. He stood rooted to the ground with his eyes and mouth widely opened. Thousands of thoughts fashed through Erik's mind.
Soon, he regained his composure, traumatized with fear, he took a few steps back. He fished out his phone silently and called the animal control.
After ten minutes, the animal control arrived. Erik's heart skipped a beat and a tingling sensation ran down his spine as a man with a net approached him. Beads of perspiration rolled his forehead and cheeks. After telling him what he saw, the man rushed toward the bushed. His face turned as pale as a sheet. People from the park quickly crowded around the bush. After a few minutes, the crowd got even bigger. The man warily and quickly used the net and caught the snake. Erik heaved a sigh of relief.
After a few minutes, the man left with the snake, leaving the baby behind. Soon, the crowd dispersed. Erik took the basket with the baby and brought it to the nearby police station. Upon reaching, he saw an anxious women pacing up and down. He hurriedly approached the woman and asked if the baby was her's. She nodded her head and thanked him profusely. She told Erik that a man with dyed hair snatched the basket from her while she was in the park and threatened her for money as she called the police, the man quickly ran away with
the baby.
Then, he realized that it was already noon. He ran home immediately and thought about what happened that day.
